Default Hamas lawmakers push Sharia Law on Palestinians

The Hamas-dominated Palestinian parliament has voted in favor of a bill allowing Palestinian courts to use Islamic Sharia Law when meting out punishments to criminals, the London-based pan-Arab daily Al Hayat reported on Wednesday.

In line with Sharia, the bill calls for such punishments as whipping for those who drink alcohol and severing the hands of thieves. Crucifixion and handing are reserved for offenders who aid enemy entities "against the Palestinian interest" or engage in any other activity deemed harmful to Palestinian morale.

The incoming Hamas government will move quickly to make Islamic sharia “a source” of law in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and will overhaul the Palestinian education system to separate boys and girls and introduce a more Islamic curriculum, a senior official in the movement said yesterday.

Hamas's Denial on Islamic Law is a Lie

Hamas leaders in Gaza have denied a report in the London-based Al-Hayyat according to which the group plans to institute an Islamic penal code including punishments such as crucifixion, lashes and amputations. However, according to the Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) organization, the group is lying.

"Contrary to today's denials, official Hamas leaders have proudly announced in the Hamas-run media in the last two months that this Islamic penal code was being prepared,” PMW explained. “Indeed, senior Hamas leaders went so far as to say that when these laws are implemented, they will have force not only in Gaza but also in the West Bank [Judea and Samaria—ed.].”

HAMAS Legalizes the Crucifixion of Christians and other Enemies

Reading the Jewish World Review today, Christians better wake-up as Hamas is bringing back the "crucifixion" of Christians, Jews and anyone else who does not conform to their ideology. Hamas wants to kill them by nailing them to crosses and they call Jesus Christ the "slave of Allah".
